I’d like to thank all of my mentors which are bloggers. For inspiring me to explore Western Visayas. This is where my curiosity led me to an invitation to follow up on my dreams and passions, = sea, islands, beaches, culture, photography and many other things which brings a smile to my dial.
Happily sponsored by Boracay and a big shout-out to my friend Mr. Wine for making this happen. May our paths cross again soon.
AKLAN: THE NEW BORACAY (PUBLIC OR PRIVATE ISLAND)

Do you want to go to Boracay? 🙂 Considering it’s a beautiful and very attractive place. You need to understand there are some changes that you need to qualify to go this amazing island. By official mandate everyone is required to have accommodation- resort booking before you enter the island. The whole island was shutdown for six months to totally renovate all the facilities and establishments. This will include beautiful private beaches etc. Which has their own laws that you need to abide by.
8 THINGS TO DO IN BORCACAY (MY OPINION)
COME AND ENJOY TAKING A WALK BORACAY STATIONS
Boracay is divided into four parts. Each part has a title and the first title is Zero, One, Two,Three. If you have the budget and have paid for appropriate accommodation you’re entitled to go to station Zero 🙂 This is an exclusive area. In my opinion station one has the finest white sand beach with disgusting-lee nice sunsets. Station two 🙂 = shopping centre, restaurants, cafes, pubs, fast foods, ATM, souvenir shops, it is super busy here. Station 3= you will have all your water activities such, parasailing, jet-ski, “island hopping- snorkeling- lunch -Puka Beach”. You can walk along the beach for 7kms or use the transport which cost 20php for a cable Tricycle for those who aren’t athletic. The beach is a Food Alcohol and Smoke Free Zone. 🙂 This is police = smoking 1000 php and up. My personal favorite is Station 1 because of the reasons above.

ANTIQUE
If you visit Antique province you have the opportunity to meet a marvelous community. If you ask people where to find Kawa Hot Bath you will have a charming experience which will surprise you. 😉 You have the choice to do water activities. The locals have several activities that you can experience such as, water tubing- 400php, kayaking- 500-900php, diving/swimming in the river. There’s an incredible opportunity to take an inspired photo at sunset in a specific place which is called Malalison Island. Photography opportunity = a special sandbar that gives you access to taking a photo of an island that symbolizes-represents a pregnant woman, ask the locals where to find. If you want this opportunity you go to Culasi port, 750php for 3-5 people round-trip. Considering I was backpacking/hiking I took the cheap economy of seeing this establishment and I paid 600php for my accommodation. If you are lucky enough to use Enrique De Mararison all your fees will be covered “Boat fee (round trip), Terminal fee, accommodation and free breakfast’’. Now we’re heading to my favorite part which is the rolling hills, my thoughts, are I really enjoy the hiking as well as the astounding photography opportunities.

Approved and validated by the Gods Mangoes! This is a topic that I enjoy so very much. There is so much history here with a research facility dealing with mangoes 🙂 Please drop by the information centre to gather particulars. Did you know I really love mango floats and I enjoy making them. We went to the Pitstop diner. MENU- combo meal and small Mango pizza. Delicious! Yes, yes! Mango Pizza. Please take some swimwear with you if you like swimming and you will also discover an ancient lighthouse. There are plenty of opportunities for photography. To navigate your way around in Guimaras visit the Tourism office.
